In the fall of 2020, I worked on this cinema comedy about a lifeguard's struggle to preserve a small outdoor pool in a little Bavarian village.

Main Graphic Artist

Tasks
Designing several graphics (vintage jigsaw puzzles, water polo team logos and maps, signs) for both prop department and set deck.
Vintage jigsaw puzzles
Had a lot fun designing jigsaw puzzles for this comedy. Had to design three different vintage boxes, one being a hero prop appearing repeatedly in different scenes.
Vintage orientation map
Designed this large 1970s orientation map, based on real maps. Most fun was to develop a vintage icon set.
Vintage welcome sign
I designed this 1970s welcome sign for the entrance area of the outdoor swimming pool, which only made a tiny appearance in the background.
Water polo team logos
I designed these two water polo team logos for two really different teams: “Delphine SV Grubberg”, the friendly loosers and “Haie SV Rohrdach” the highly aggressiv pro team. My task was to transport these team characteristics with my logo designs.
